Introducing Stroh’s Bohemian-style pilsner

Stroh Brewery Co. is proud to honor our brewing heritage by reintroducing Stroh’s Bohemian-Style Pilsner. Our Master Brewer has crafted an exceptional European-style pilsner brewed in the heart of Detroit, using Saaz and Magnum hops with Vienna malt. The result is a crisp, balanced pilsner, with a floral aroma, subtle hop spice, and a rich, bready maltiness. Brewed for everyday enjoyment, this is a Bohemian-Style Pilsner worthy of the Stroh’s name.

Stroh’s Bohemian-style pilsner will be available in restaurants, bars and retail outlets beginning aug 22

In 1850, Bernard Stroh hand-delivered his first beer to stores in detroit

with a wheelbarrow, and The Stroh Brewery Co. was born. Through hard work and with a great portfolio of beers, by 1982, Stroh’s became one of our nation’s largest brewers. By reviving the beer styles that made Stroh’s great, we are returning to our roots, paying homage to our traditional brewing heritage, and writing the next chapter of Stroh’s beer.

Stroh’s beer was first brewed in Detroit in 1850.

Stroh’s Bohemian-Style Pilsner is a classic recognized as the Blue Ribbon winner at the World’s Fair in Chicago in 1893.  By bringing brewing back to the city of Detroit, we honor the history and heritage of Stroh’s, and the innovation and hard work of the people of Detroit.
